Core Concepts
com.sap.idm.provisioning.engine dependency
The standard provisioning engine com.sap.idm.provisioning.engine of SAP IdM is used as a dependency for the ROIAM CONNECTOR. If the SAP IdM implementation does not use this provisioning engine, the import of the ROI iAM connector package will fail. To fix this, you will need to re-link the respective processes to the customized provisioning engine package. If you are unsure about the steps required to achieve this, contact the ROIABLE support team.
ROIABLE Accelerator Tracing
The traces and logs of the accelerator are available like any other application running on SAP NetWeaver, within the Log Viewer in the SAP NetWeaver Administrator user interface. If they are not visible, you may need to change the criticality of the tracing location of com.roiable.roiam.idmproxy. SAP’s official documentation provides more details about the configuration of the log — Log Configuration with SAP NetWeaver Administrator
Recommendation
Use the debug tracing level only when needed (e.g., more log data is required) — for example, during initial setup, when connecting to a new system, or when the result of a manual action is unclear. The SAP NetWeaver system may experience higher loads if the debug level is left enabled for extended periods.
All accelerator messages start with the prefix ROI iAM debugger, which can be used to filter and identify the logs. The trace files can then be provided to the ROI iAM support team for analysis if they are too technical to interpret.
