Prerequisites ​

The product relies on several SAP BTP services that you must provide from your organization. Some services are free of charge; others depend on your SAP customer agreement. All services listed below are required. If any service is unavailable in your delivery model as described later in this document, it will obstruct the proper functioning of the product and may render it unusable.

Required services at a glance ​

SAP Cloud Identity Services ​

  • Role: Authentication and Authorization.

SAP HANA Cloud ​

  • Role: Persistency.
  • Sizing: 32 GB memory (minimum).

WARNING

For the lowest tier. Increase per throughput and retention.

SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry Runtime ​

  • Role: Runtime.
  • Sizing: 32 GB RAM.

Adjust based on required high availability and scale.

SAP Integration Suite ​

Capabilities ​


Cloud Integration ​
  • Underlying connectivity engine of the solution. Uses message mapping features, connectors, and iFlow artifacts.
API Management ​
  • Unified API endpoint for external consumption. Provides a security layer based on API keys.
Event Mesh ​
  • Grants event capabilities for low to average load (suited for IAM activities).

SAP Credential Store ​

  • Role: Secure, centralized store of credentials and secrets.

SAP Cloud Logging ​

  • Role: Storage of technical logs for audit and troubleshooting.

SAP BTP Connectivity ​

  • Role: Connectivity.
